Android Secret Configuration Menu

The Android operating system contains a number of useful secret undocumented menus and screens used by techs and service personnel. This article shows you how to access these menus by simply keying in a number on the keypad.

Whilst we make every attempt to ensure the accuracy of information presented, I accept no responsibility if things going wrong. You should not attempt this, or change any settings if you do not know what you are doing. Usage of these menus can lead to modified functionality, deletion of data, altering firmware or an inoperable device. Use with caution and at your own risk.

To access the secret configuration menu, simply type the following code into the phone keypad.

*#*#4636#*#*

This will launch the secret configuration menu where you can view important information about your device. The screenshots below show the contents of the menus on my phone. To my knowledge, this works on rooted and non-rooted phones.
